MU PIN • Blackened White Brass

An ancient specimen has been reforged into the future.  The pin was conceived to compliment the Shifting Layer, but can be enjoyed in various forms of adornment. 

It is quite substantial at 0.6 oz and measures 3" in length. 

This blacked brass version is a very limited edition of 33.

Comes in a special blackened cypress box.

The base is something between silver and brass and has been heavily blackened the polished.

Made by in a US metal workshop

ETYMOLOGY: 'Mu' is a nod to both the concept of emptiness in Zen buddhism, represented by Enso circle, and the mythical lost continent in the Pacific, sometimes hypothesized to be associated with the mysterious underwater Yonaguni Monument whose distinct features were an inspiration for the lines of the pin.
