This thick, poncho-style sleeveless coat offers a unique fusion of structure and softness, enveloping you in a layer of insulation that creates your own sanctuary-like environment wherever you go.  Sourced from a small experimental Japanese mill, the fabric is a unique luxury wool bonded with a touch of cotton, and is beautifully textured, fluffy and flexible.

The Cocoon is designed to easily throw over any outfit, creating a striking silhouette while maintaining a comforting, blanket-like warmth. Its voluminous hood cradles the neck when down, while putting it up it buries the head in a meditative embrace. Extra-deep pockets allow you to cocoon your hands and forearms, or even keep your arms entirely within for an added sense of security.

Overlaps and closes with minimal hook + eyes.

MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION
The coat is cut and sewn in New York City by our long-time manufacturing parter, known for their extreme precision. The fabric is sourced from a mill in Aichi prefecture, Japan, which still utilizes century-old looms in some cases.
